Smartwings, a prominent airline specializing in scheduled and chartered flights to leisure destinations, is seeking experienced and highly motivated EASA B737NG Captains for the 2025-2026 season. This is an exceptional opportunity for qualified pilots seeking a rewarding, long-term contract within Europe.
Position: EASA B737NG Captain
Requirements:
- Current EASA ATPL
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Current Command Type Rating on B737NG with IR
- Minimum of 3,500 hours Total Time
- Minimum of 1,000 hours Command Time on B737NG
- Last flight within the last 12 months
- Unrestricted rights to live and work within the EU
Terms:
- Contract Length: Spring 2025 - October 2026, structured as follows:
- Spring 2025 – October 31, 2025
- Four months off (November 2025 – February 2026)
- March 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026
- Screening Dates: February 10-13, 2025 & March 11-14, 2025
- Operator Conversion Course (OCC) Dates: March, April and May 2025
- Base: Various (Floating Base)
- Compensation:
- Basic Salary (based on 40 monthly minimum block hours): €6,800 per month + €180/hour (for hours exceeding 40) + Bonuses. Increased flight hours result in higher earnings. As an example, based on an average of 85 flying hours, potential earnings are €15,400 per month.
- Basic Payment during Ground School: €5,000 per month (commencing at the start of Ground School and concluding upon successful completion of the Operator Conversion Course SIM).
- Roster: 20 days ON / 10 days OFF
- Stay & Travel Allowance: €500 per month
- Travel Allowance:
- MyID Travel available to the pilot and up to four family members for the contract duration. The pilot is responsible for travel to the airline's base.
- Transportation from/to assigned home base to the main base during a 21-day pattern will be provided by the airline.
- Ground transport included.
