ATR72 Captain (EASA) - European ACMI Operator
A prominent European-based ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) operator is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced EASA-licensed ATR72 Captains to join its distinguished flight crew. The Role of ATR72 Captain
The successful candidate will serve as a Captain on the ATR72 aircraft, holding ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient conduct of flights in accordance with EASA regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. This pivotal role demands exceptional piloting skills, strong leadership, and a steadfast commitment to safety and operational excellence within a fast-paced ACMI environment.
Essential Requirements
Prospective Captains must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Possession of a valid EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-A) or a validation of an equivalent ICAO license issued by a Transport Competence Authority (TCA).
- A current and valid ATR42/72 Type Rating.
- A minimum of 1,200 total hours as Commander on multi-pilot aircraft with a Maximum Certified Take-Off Weight (MCTOW) of 5,700 kg or more, OR at least 200 hours as Commander specifically on ATR42/72 aircraft.
- Holding a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED requirements.
- Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
- Possession of a valid Operator Proficiency Check (OPC).
- A valid Line Check (LC), including Route and Aerodrome Competence Qualification and recency.
- Current and compliant with all training and checking requirements as stipulated in OMD Chapter 2.1.
Contract Terms and Remuneration
This position is offered on a 12-month contract basis, with the strong possibility of renewal. Operating base(s) will be confirmed (TBC) upon offer. The remuneration package is competitive and designed to attract top talent, offering two distinct options:
Option 1: Production Day Based Scheme
- Monthly Guaranteed Pay: N/A
- Duty Day Pay: €350
- Ground Training Payment (Recurrent Only): €50 per day
- Simulator Training Payment: €100 per day
- Duty Day for Simulator Training (TRI/TRE Duties): €400
- Line Training/Line Check Payment: €25 per day
- Commuting Day Payment: €100
- Office Work Payment: €50 per day
Option 2: Base Monthly Pay Scheme
- Monthly Guaranteed Pay: €2,400
- Duty Day Pay: €285
- Ground Training Payment (Recurrent Only): €50 per day
- Simulator Training Payment: €100 per day
- Duty Day for Simulator Training (TRI/TRE Duties): €280
- Line Training/Line Check Payment: €25 per day
- Commuting Day Payment: €100
- Office Work Payment: €50 per day
Additional Contract Details:
- Per Diem: €35
- Minimum Block Hours (MBH): 60 hours per month
- Roster Pattern: 20 days ON - 10 days OFF
