Aviation Career Opportunity in India
A new airline in India is commencing operations and seeks experienced and professional aviation professionals to join their team. The airline is specifically looking for ATR72 Captains, Line Training Captains, and Examiners (TRE) for a three-year contract.

All candidates must be type rated and current on the ATR72.
Captain Requirements:
- Hold a current and valid FAA/EASA/CAA Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
- Possess an ATR 72-600 type rating.
- Hold a First Class Medical Certificate issued by EASA/FAA/CAA.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on any aircraft type.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours PIC on the ATR 72.
- Experience on aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) exceeding 5,700 kgs.
- Current Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check.
- Minimum of 10 hours flying experience including at least 3 take-offs and landings within the preceding 6 months on the ATR 72 variant or possess a valid rating on type and 3 take-offs and landings in preceding 90 days on simulator/aircraft.
- Minimum ICAO Level 5 English language proficiency.
- Possess a FRTOL (radio license) or equivalent.
- Provide a certified copy of logbook and flight experience.
Line Training Captain Requirements:
In addition to the Captain requirements:
- Minimum of 1,500 hours PIC on any aircraft type.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours PIC on the ATR 72.
- Valid rating on type and 3 take-offs and landings in preceding 6 months on the ATR 72 variant or possess a valid rating on type and 3 take-offs and landings in preceding 90 days on simulator/aircraft.
- 100 hours of flight time in the preceding 12 months.
Examiner (TRE) Requirements:
In addition to the Captain requirements:
- Minimum of 4,000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours PIC on any aircraft type.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours PIC on the ATR 72.
- 250 hours of instrument flight time.
- Current Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check
- Valid rating on type and 3 take-offs and landings in preceding 6 months on the ATR 72 variant or possess a valid rating on type and 3 take-offs and landings in preceding 90 days on simulator/aircraft.
- 100 hours of flight time in the preceding 12 months.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Three-year contract.

- Captains: USD 7,500 to 8,000 based on experience.
- Line Training Captains: USD 9,000.
- Examiners (TRE): USD 10,500.

Additional Information:
Candidates must complete an Indian medical examination within 3 months of receiving their Foreign Aircrew Temporary Authorisation (FATA). Candidates must also pass an Indian air regulation exam (multiple choice), for which the airline will provide training. All associated fees, including the Indian medical, will be paid. Travel to Delhi, including hotel, meals, and tickets, will be provided by Zett Fly Aviation Private Ltd.
Application Process:
The security clearance paperwork and document evaluation process will take approximately 45 days to 2 months. Upon successful evaluation, candidates will be required to apply for an Indian employment visa. Tickets for travel to India will be provided by Zett Fly Aviation Private Ltd. The initial visa will be valid for 12 months, with return tickets provided for visa renewal, if needed. A comprehensive two-month training program, including dangerous goods and security training, will also be provided.
