EASA A320 Captain - Fixed-Term Contract, Europe
An established airline client, operating scheduled and chartered flights primarily serving leisure destinations, is seeking highly qualified EASA A320 rated Captains for a fixed-term contract opportunity within Europe. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced pilots seeking a defined contract period.
Position
The airline is recruiting EASA A320 rated Captains on a fixed-term contract role, scheduled to run until August 2026.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Current EASA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Current Command Type Rating with A320 IR (Instrument Rating)
- A minimum of 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
- A minimum of 500 Pilot-in-Command hours on the A320 type
- Last flight conducted within the preceding 12 months
- Possession of legal rights to live and work within the European Union
Contract Terms
The fixed-term contract, valid until August 2026, offers the following terms:
- Contract End Date: Until August 2026
- Screening Dates: Anticipated between June and July 2025
- OCC Dates: Anticipated between July and August 2025
- Base: Various (operating on a floating base system)
- Remuneration:
- Basic Salary (based on a minimum of 40 block hours per month): €6,800 per month
- Overtime Payment: €180 per hour for block hours exceeding 40 per month
- Additional Bonuses
- Illustrative Example: Based on an average of 85 flying hours per month, remuneration could approximate €15,400 per month.
- Ground School Payment: €5,000 per month, commencing upon starting Ground School and concluding upon successful completion of the Operator Conversion Course (OCC) simulator phase.
- Roster: A structured roster pattern of 20 days ON followed by 10 days OFF.
- Stay & Travel Allowance: Provided during the 20-day ON pattern, including an additional €500 monthly allowance.
- Travel Benefits:
- MyID Travel benefits available to the pilot and up to four family members for the duration of the contract. The pilot is responsible for travel to the airline's main base.
- Transport between the assigned home base and the main base during the 20-day pattern will be covered by the airline.
- Ground transport is also provided.
