A320 EASA Captain Opportunity in Iraq
An ACMI provider in Europe, operating routes across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, seeks experienced A320 EASA Captains for a contract position in Iraq. This is a six or seven-month contract with the potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to contribute to a dynamic aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
The A320 Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of A320 aircraft, adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as international aviation regulations. The Captain will maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism while ensuring passenger comfort and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4000 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320.
- Valid EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-A).
- Valid A320 Type Rating.
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- Valid Class I medical certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED requirements.
- ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
- Valid LPC within the last 6 months.
Terms and Conditions:
- Base: Iraq.
- Contract Duration: Six or seven months with optional extension.
- Base Salary: €4,500 gross per month.
- Hourly Pay: €100 gross per flight hour.
- Guaranteed Minimum Flight Pay: Minimum of 50 hours per month with a minimum of 14 days in Iraq.
- Rotation Options:
- Option 1: 22 days on duty with 11 days off (expected average flight time of over 90 hours per month).
- Option 2: 15 days on duty with 15 days off (expected average flight time of over 55 hours per month).
- Contract Completion Bonus:
- Option 1: €20 gross per flight hour (expected total flight time of 500-600 hours = €10,000-€12,000 gross).
- Option 2: €10 gross per flight hour (expected total flight time of 350-400 hours = €3,300-€4,000 gross). The bonus is payable at the end of the contract period.
- Provided Services: Repositioning flights, transportation, breakfast and dinner, insurance, accommodation, and onboard meals.
- Tax: All applicable taxes will be paid in the EU.
- Potential Pay Scenarios (dependent on actual hours flown):
- 55 hours: €10,550 gross (approximately €9,500 net).
- 90 hours: €15,300 gross (approximately €14,000 net).
- 100 hours: €16,500 gross (approximately €15,000 net).
- Possibility of contract extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
