Border City Aviation is seeking a Chief Pilot/Operations Manager for its operations.
This is a working position that would include about 20hrs of flying per month.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chief Pilot/Operations Manager reports directly to the company AE.

Applying professional flight crew standards in accordance with the CARs

Developing standard operating procedures.

Ensuring that all approved training programs required for flight crews comply with all regulations.

Issuing directives and notices to flight crews as required.

Ensuring the operational suitability and requirements of all airports used by the Company.

Actioning and distribution of Safety information, Aviation Occurrence Report(s), and other pertinent reports.

Perform the duties as outlined in company manuals and Transport Canada approved manuals.

Supervising flight crews.

Ensure that all training programs approved and required for flight crews comply with all regulations.

Performing all other duties as assigned by the AE.
QUALIFICATIONS

Aviation Management experience or equivalent Degree.

Comprehensive knowledge of the CAR’s.

Management ability.

Meet TC requirements as per CAR’s 723.07.

Be able to successfully pass an interview with Transport Canada.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration will commensurate with experience.
