The incumbent is responsible to the Manager of Flight Operations through the Chief Pilot for the legal and safe conduct of the assigned aircraft and task. They will ensure that all aspects of the flight are conducted in compliance with the applicable Bombardier documentation, standards, and SOP’s.

The incumbent will also comply with the appropriate Civil Aviation Regulations: Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), United States Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), etc.

In your role, you will:

  • Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
  • Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
  • Conduct Ferry flights.
  • Carry out pre and post flight activities.
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
  • You have a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi engine ac
  • You have flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
  • You have previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training a definite asset.
  • A US ATP is an asset.
  • You have the right to work and live in Canada is required.
  • You have a strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can work with a team.
  • You can execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
  • You manage stressful situations
  • You have working knowledge of MS Office
