As a Captain at Bombardier, you will be entrusted with the vital responsibility of conducting ground and flight tests to ensure the airworthiness of our cutting-edge aircraft. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful launch of new products and the continued satisfaction of our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute meticulous ground and flight tests to validate aircraft airworthiness.
- Showcase aircraft capabilities by conducting demonstration flights for potential customers.
- Lead Customer Acceptance flights, ensuring a seamless transition of our aircraft.
- Conduct Ferry flights, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of our fleet.
- Diligently complete all pre and post flight procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the flight operations team, providing support and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical certificate.
- A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 500 hours of Pilot in Command experience on large multi-engine aircraft.
- Adaptability to work flexible hours and accommodate travel on short notice.
- Prior flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training is highly advantageous.
- A US ATP is considered an asset.
- Eligibility to work and reside in Canada is mandatory.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a team-oriented setting.
- Capacity to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while fostering positive relationships with crew and management.
- Composed and effective decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
