Role Summary
The Flight Operations department is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot, Captain, to join its esteemed team at the Toronto Pearson location. This pivotal role involves reporting directly to the Manager, Flight Operations, and is central to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence within a dynamic aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Pilot, Captain will be instrumental in ensuring that all Global aircraft consistently meet and exceed stringent operational requirements. Core duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive flight testing of Global aircraft to verify airworthiness and performance.
- Performing professional customer demonstrations, showcasing aircraft capabilities and operational standards.
- Executing ferry operations with precision and unwavering adherence to all regulatory and company procedures.
- Actively supporting and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of overall flight operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Canadian Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and a current Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time, including at least 500 hours as Pilot In Command (PIC) on large multi-engine aircraft.
- Unrestricted legal right to work and reside in Canada is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively execute the duties of an aircraft commander while fostering positive and cooperative relationships with both crew members and management.
- Proven capability to manage and navigate stressful situations with composure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as an integral part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills and Assets:
- Flexibility to accommodate irregular working hours and to undertake travel on short notice is highly valued.
- Previous flight test experience or a robust technical background in aircraft certification or training will be considered a significant asset.
- Current BD700 and/or G7500 endorsement is highly advantageous.
- Possession of a valid US Air Transport Pilot (ATP) license is an asset.
