Boeing Defence Australia seeks a highly skilled and experienced CH-47F Qualified Flight Instructor (QFI) to join its Chinook Wing within the School of Army Aviation based in Townsville, commencing January 2025. This crucial role contributes directly to the training and operational readiness of the Australian Defence Force.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive CH-47F flight instruction across airborne, synthetic, and ground training environments. Further duties encompass general CH-47F flying operations, associated administrative tasks, and maintaining current flying currency and qualifications as mandated by Australian Army Aviation Command. The role also includes fostering a safe and productive work environment and contributing to team performance improvements.
Physical requirements are subject to assessment by Boeing Defence Australia's Environment Health & Safety Department and will be detailed in the formal position description.
