Key Requirements for Aspiring First Officers:
- Theoretical and Practical Qualifications: Candidates must hold at least the theoretical qualifications for an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), or possess a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL). A current and valid Instrument Rating (IR) is essential, alongside a certificate of completion for the Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course or an equivalent qualification. A Multi-Engine (ME) endorsement is also required.
- Licensing and Medical: Applicants must hold an EASA license and a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or higher is mandatory, in addition to demonstrable proficiency in Spanish at Level 5.
- Passport Validity: A valid passport with more than six months of remaining validity is a prerequisite.
- Type Rating: While a specific type rating is not a prerequisite, successful candidates will receive comprehensive type rating training for the ATR42/72 aircraft, provided by Binter Canarias.
- Preferred Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates who already possess an ATR42/72 variant 600 Type Qualification.
