Production Test Pilot

Bell Textron is seeking a qualified Production Test Pilot to join their team in Mirabel, Quebec. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and airworthiness of production aircraft.

Responsibilities:

The Production Test Pilot performs functional ground and flight testing on aircraft. He evaluates and accepts production aircraft to ensure a high-quality product that meets engineering and manufacturing standards. The Pilot assures compliance with military, FAA, and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) standards. This position includes familiarization, customer training, and customer acceptance flights for both military and civilian clients. These flights are often conducted at customer operational areas, requiring frequent national and international travel. Demonstration flights (on and off site), product development, and evaluation flights are conducted in close coordination with commercial and military marketing, engineering, quality control, manufacturing, and product support departments.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4500 hours pilot-in-command experience in helicopters, including hours on Bell products; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) CPL(H) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Helicopter) ATPL(H) is required.
• A valid IFR Group 4 rating is an asset.
• FAA license or Flight Instructor Rating is an asset.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Functional knowledge of both French and English is required, as the position necessitates communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec, and/or its suppliers, partners and clients outside of Quebec.
