Summary of tasks

En tant qu’expert, pilote d’essais d’aéronefs de série, la ou le titulaire met à l’essai fonctionnel, évalue et accepte tout aéronef de série afin d’assurer un produit de haute qualité constante selon les normes d’ingénierie et de fabrication. De plus, la ou le titulaire assure la conformité aux normes militaires, de la FAA et du ministère des Transports Canada.

Ce poste inclut la familiarisation, la formation aux clients et les vols de réceptions tant pour les clients militaires que pour les civils. Ces vols sont souvent exécutés aux installations du client et demandent de fréquents voyages nationaux et internationaux.

Les démonstrations (sur place et hors site), le développement du produit et les vols d’évaluation sont effectués de très près avec les Services du marketing commercial et militaire, de l’ingénierie, du contrôle de la qualité, de la fabrication et du soutien technique.

Exigences minimales requises :

Avoir 4500 heures d’expérience comme commandant de bord d’hélicoptère comprenant des heures d’expérience acquises sur des produits de Bell.

Licence CPL(H) ou ATPL(H), IFR groupe 4 valide,

Licence FAA ou d’instructeur serait un atout.

Connaissance fonctionnelle de la suite Microsoft Office.

Connaissance fonctionnelle du français (un atout) et une connaissance parfaite de l’anglais requise.

Toute autre combinaison de scolarité et d’expérience jugée équivalente pourra être considérée.

Summary of job description

As Production Test Pilot Specialist, the incumbent functionally tests, evaluates and accepts all production aircraft in order to insure a constant high-quality product according to engineering and manufacturing standards. Also, the incumbent assures compliance with military, FAA and TCCA standards.

This position includes familiarization, customer training and customer acceptance flights for both military and civilian customers. These flights are often conducted at customer’s operational areas and require frequent travel Nationally and Internationally.

Demonstration (on and off site), product development and evaluation flights are conducted in close liaison with commercial and military marketing, engineering, quality control, manufacturing, and product support Departments.

Minimum requirements

4500 hours pilot in command helicopters including hours on Bell products.

CPL(H) or ATPL(H), valid IFR group 4,

Instructor or FAA license would be an asset.

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Functional knowledge of French (an asset) and perfect knowledge of English required.
