MIL seeks a skilled Adversary Pilot with 5th Generation subject matter expertise for an on-site position at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. This role involves operating advanced simulators for the F-22 and F-35, supporting operational, test, and training units by flying modern air-dominance tactics as an adversary and fighter pilot.

About the Role

This on-site position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for 4th/5th-generation fighter pilots within the Joint Simulation Environment at Nellis AFB, Nevada. The Adversary Pilot will support operational, test, and training units by flying modern air-dominance tactics as an adversary in Virtual Air Training Systems (VATs) and as a fighter pilot in the F-22/F-35 Full Mission Simulators (FMS), operating at a four-ship flight-lead level. Responsibilities include operating simulator and debriefing programs, providing current Air Dominance Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) knowledge and academics for Defensive Counter Air (DCA), Offensive Counter Air (OCA), and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) missions, developing realistic training scenarios, and managing mission planning, briefing, leadership, and debriefing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 500 flight hours in a fighter Training/Mission System (T/M/S) aircraft, including F-15 EX, F/A-18 E/F, F-22, or F-35.
• Graduation from a recognized weapons instructor course, such as USAF Fighter Weapons Instructor Course, Marine Corps Aviation Weapons and Tactics, Navy TOPGUN, or an Adversary or Aggressor course.
• A DoD Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.

Qualifications

• On-site support is required, and the pilot must be capable of working flexible shifts to accommodate training and operations schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 1,000 flight hours in one of the specified fighter T/M/S aircraft.
• Experience as a USAF Weapons Instructor Course instructor, TOPGUN instructor, or comparable instructor role.
• Recent deployment experience within the last two years.
• Experience within the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE).
