BAE Systems is seeking a qualified Eurofighter Typhoon Simulator Instructor Pilot for its training operations in Taif, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive transition and recurrent training to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) personnel within a simulator environment.

About the Role

The Eurofighter Typhoon Simulator Instructor Pilot will be responsible for conducting flight simulator training, including ground school lectures, briefings, and de-briefings for RSAF aircrew. Key duties involve assessing pilot performance, recommending additional training, developing course content, and managing day-to-day simulator operations. This position is based in Taif, Saudi Arabia, and is offered as an expatriate role.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of instructional experience, specifically as an FCTI or SFI.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting flight crew training within a simulator environment.
• Completion of the simulator content for the applicable type rating course.
• Possession of a valid pilot license, such as an ATPL or equivalent.
• Eligibility for Saudi Arabian government and customer approvals.

Qualifications

• Previous Eurofighter Typhoon experience is highly desirable, though not essential.
• Fast-jet experience and an instructor pilot qualification are preferred.
