First Officer Pilot Opportunities – BA CityFlyer (Training Provided)

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Licence & Qualifications: Candidates must hold a current UK CAA Part-FCL licence, specifically a Frozen ATPL (A), CPL (A), or MPL. Alternatively, applicants demonstrating the ability to convert an existing EASA licence to a UK CAA licence via transfer process routes 3, 4, 5, or 6 are encouraged to apply. A crucial requirement is a first-series pass for both the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) examinations (defined as Series 1, Attempt 1 or Series 1, Attempt 2). Additionally, applicants must possess certifications for UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) and APS MCC (Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Co-operation). Pilots who successfully navigate the selection process while awaiting the issuance of their licence will be placed into a hold pool until their licence is officially obtained.
- Eligible Licence Holders: Applications are welcomed from holders of both EASA and UK CAA licences.
- Medical Certification: A valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- English Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 6 is required.
- Academic Performance: Applicants should have achieved an average of 85% or higher in their ground school examinations, with a maximum of three resits permitted across all modules.
- Passport & Travel: A valid passport is required, with a minimum of 12 months validity remaining from the date of application. This passport must allow for unrestricted worldwide travel.
- Type Rating: A type rating is not a prerequisite for this position, as full type rating training will be comprehensively provided by BA CityFlyer.
