Position Overview:

Avmax is seeking skilled and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join its MRO division in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role operates across two shifts, seven days a week, supporting the maintenance and repair of customer aircraft. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of aircraft under the guidance of a Department Lead. Multiple vacancies are available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance crews.
  • Effectively communicate task completion to facilitate workflow for subsequent trades.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment is maintained at all times.
  • Actively promote company values, vision, and mission.
  • Perform maintenance repairs on customer aircraft with a high degree of competency and capability.
  • Accurately and completely sign off work sheets and work cards for accomplished tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across the organization.
  • Holds strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
  • Capable of building quality capability and responsiveness within Avmax Group Inc.

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the aircraft maintenance field is required.

Training & Development:

Avmax is committed to employee development and provides comprehensive mandatory company regulatory and human resources training, including safety, policy, human factors, and workplace conduct modules. Training is primarily conducted online with some instructor-led sessions as part of the onboarding process, which must be completed within the initial three months of employment. Elective programs are also available to align with position requirements or support career progression, subject to management approval.

Reporting Structure:

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Department Lead.
