HC/MC-130J Instructor Pilot - Albuquerque, NM

MIL is seeking a skilled HC/MC-130J Instructor Pilot for a challenging role based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position involves delivering comprehensive aircrew academic and simulator instruction on the HC-130J and MC-130J aircraft, encompassing curriculum development and training for basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing expert instruction in both academic and simulator environments for the HC-130J and MC-130J aircraft and their associated mission sets. This includes applying a wide range of instructional theories and practices to mentor students on technically precise material, complex procedures, and the strict adherence to regulations and instructions. The role also involves serving as a subject matter expert for assessing current training materials and developing new curriculum. The Instructor Pilot will maintain an expert knowledge base to deliver training for basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.

Requirements

• Must possess a Security Clearance (Secret).
• A minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 200 hours of USAF Instructor time in the C-130J, AC-130J, HC-130J, or MC-130J airframe.
• Candidates will undergo frequent written and performance evaluations to assess expert knowledge and instructional capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and outdoors as required.
• Must be eligible for a US Government security investigation and to obtain/maintain the required Secret security clearance.
