A320 Captains: Excellent Permanent Contract Opportunity with Pegasus Airlines, Turkey
Pegasus Airlines, a prominent and expanding low-cost carrier based in Turkey, invites highly experienced Captains to apply for permanent A320 Captain positions. This opportunity is critical for supporting the airline's fleet expansion and operations across its network of 110 destinations.
The Pegasus Airlines fleet currently comprises 75 modern Airbus A320/321neo aircraft, boasting an average age of just 4.3 years. Successful candidates will be based at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) in Istanbul.
The Opportunity: A320 Captain (Improved Package)
This role offers a permanent contract with an attractive, improved compensation structure. Furthermore, experienced Captains may also be considered for Instructor roles, adding further scope to career development within the airline.
Remuneration and Benefits Package
The comprehensive package is designed to attract top-tier aviation professionals, structured as follows:
- Net Salary: Average monthly remuneration ranges between US$ 11,000 and US$ 13,500 NET. (Note: Final package is determined based on the Captain's experience grade and chosen roster pattern.)
- Annual Bonus: Bonuses are paid three (3) times per year.
- Accommodation: High-quality hotel accommodation is provided for the first nine (9) months of the contract duration.
- Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance and Loss of License insurance are included.
- Travel Benefits: Monthly return tickets are provided across the Pegasus network, alongside family travel benefits.
- Operational Support: A meal card and duty transport to the airport are provided.
Roster and Leave Options
Pegasus Airlines offers flexible roster patterns to suit various lifestyles, in addition to standard annual leave provisions:
- 15 days on / 15 days off (Commuting Option)
- 22 days on / 8 days off (Commuting Option)
- 25 days on / 5 days off (Commuting Option)
- Full-time (Non-commuting option)
- Annual Leave: 14 to 28 days per year.
Minimum Requirements for A320 Captains
Prospective candidates must strictly adhere to the following professional and operational criteria:
- Total Jet Flight Time: A minimum of 5,000 hours (EASA license holders) or 5,500 hours (FAA & ICAO license holders).
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time on Type (A320 Family): A minimum of 1,000 hours PIC (EASA license holders) or 1,500 hours PIC (FAA & ICAO license holders).
- License: Must hold a valid EASA FCL, FAA ATP, or nearly all ICAO ATPLs.
- Medical Certification: Must possess a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Language Proficiency: Valid English Language Level 4 or higher is required.
- Age Restriction: Maximum age of 60 at the time of recruitment (must be born after 1 January 1964).
- Record: A clean history with no criminal record and no reported accidents or incidents.
