Cabin Crew Members - Ascend Airways
Ascend Airways is seeking dedicated Cabin Crew Members to join its team at London Gatwick Airport. As part of Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest ACMI provider, Ascend Airways operates a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft in the ACMI market. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for passengers.
The Cabin Crew Member is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. Reporting to the Head of Cabin Services, the successful candidate will exhibit complete flexibility, as the role may involve various types of flying, including potential assignments away from base during the winter months.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew in compliance with aviation regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing passenger needs and requests.
- Conduct safety demonstrations and assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation.
- Serve food and beverages, and sell duty-free products during the flight.
- Handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a calm and professional approach.
- Represent Ascend Airways, delivering a positive and memorable experience for all passengers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Cabin Crew/Senior Cabin Crew member.
- Hold a valid UK CAA Cabin Crew Attestation.
- Hold a Valid UK Cabin Crew Medical.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is desirable.
- Ability and confidence to swim 25 meters unassisted.
- Knowledge of medical first aid (updated medical training will be provided by Ascend Airways).
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide.
- Be over the age of 18 at the time of application.
- Satisfactory background and DBS screening checks.
- Commute time of 90 minutes or less from London Gatwick Airport (LGW).
The compensation for this position is £22,000 per annum, plus £5 block hour flight pay.
