About the Role

The Direct Entry Captain position involves commanding B737NG aircraft for Avelo Airlines. Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flights, upholding the highest standards of aviation professionalism.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Pilot's License with an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• Current first-class medical certificate with a minimum of three months validity from the start date.
• 5,000 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
• 2,000 hours of turbine pilot-in-command (PIC) time.
• 1,000 hours of PIC time on Part 121 operations.
• Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR §121.436(a)(3).
• Must possess U.S. Citizenship.
• A valid and current U.S. Passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
• Successful completion of a Department of Transportation pre-employment drug screening.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including variable hours up to 16-hour duty days, and be available for nighttime/overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home.
• A current B737NG type rating is required.
