Ascend Airways, a UK AOC ACMI operator, is seeking a Captain for its Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet based at London Gatwick. About the Role

• Captains will report to the Director of Flight Operations and play an integral part in establishing the new airline.
• The role encompasses flying duties on Boeing 737 NG and MAX aircraft as part of the ACMI operation at London Gatwick.
• Flying schedules include night-stopping duties and occasional winter periods of up to two weeks away from base.
• The position offers flexibility with busy summer periods and quieter winter rosters, with opportunities for additional winter time off.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Class One medical certificate, unrestricted except for corrective lenses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Residential address within a 90-minute travel time of London Gatwick.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) at Level 5 or higher.
• Current Boeing 737 type rating or expired no more than two years prior.
• Minimum of 3,000 hours total flying time.
• Minimum of 500 hours in command on Boeing 737 aircraft.
• A UK ATPL and medical are preferred.
• EASA ATPL Captains are eligible to apply, with the requirement to convert to a UK licence prior to joining. Ascend Airways will provide assistance with this conversion process.
