Position Summary

Amerijet International Airlines is seeking safety-conscious, professional, and highly skilled Pilots to join its B767 freighter fleet. This role transcends technical flying expertise, emphasizing the profound joy of aviation and the critical leadership required in all operational facets. Amerijet Pilots are pivotal leaders within the operation, entrusted with the responsibility for the safe, on-time, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This demanding position requires individuals who can anticipate needs, develop robust plans, and collaborate effectively within a team to consistently achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and maintain exceptionally high standards for safety, professionalism, and operational performance.
• Handle a wide variety of operational situations effectively while collaborating with other team members and customers.
• Work both independently with limited supervision and as an integral part of a cohesive team.
• Ensure the safe, on-time, and efficient operation of Amerijet aircraft.
• Operate in diverse climates and locations across the globe, adapting to variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide decisive leadership in responding to a range of emergency and non-emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a current, unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and an English proficiency endorsement.
• Possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Maintain distance vision corrected to 20/20 and near vision corrected to 20/40 or better in each eye.
• Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Fluently speak and understand English.
• Hold a valid, unrestricted passport.
• Accumulate a minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability for quick and accurate decision-making.
• Exhibit close attention to detail.
• Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays.
• Must be within the age limits as per the FAA FAR Part 121 regulations.
• Ability to learn and proficiently work with Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs).

Entry-Level Pilot Development Program

For aspiring pilots seeking a structured pathway to an Amerijet career, an Entry-Level Pilot Development Program is available. Successful entry into and progression through this program requires adherence to specific qualifications and milestones.

Initial Entry Requirements for Program Interview:

• Possess a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating.
• Submit a completed application.
• Provide two character references.

Program Progression for Selected Students:

• Successfully obtain a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine rating.
• Obtain a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate as required for employment at U.S. Aviation (partner).
• Maintain successful completion of all appropriate program requirements.
