EMB-120 / SA-227 Instructor Pilot
Ameriflight, LLC, the largest Part 135 cargo airline in the nation, is seeking an experienced EMB-120 / SA-227 Instructor Pilot for its Flight Training Department. This full-time role, based in Dallas, TX, involves providing ground, simulator, and aircraft instruction across various locations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in training new hires, transitioning pilots, and conducting recurrent training, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
About the Role
This position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned aviation professional to contribute to Ameriflight's esteemed Flight Training Team. The Instructor Pilot will conduct comprehensive training programs, including ground school, simulator sessions, and flight instruction, supporting pilots at multiple Ameriflight bases. The role necessitates extensive domestic and international travel to facilitate training at designated simulator locations and operational bases. Key responsibilities include facilitating online training, evaluating pilot performance, supporting curriculum development, and maintaining training standardization. The role may also involve providing line coverage during peak operational periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in EMB-120 and/or SA-227 aircraft is strongly preferred.

Prior Part 121 or Part 135 airline training experience is desirable.

Demonstrated experience as a check airman, instructor pilot, or training captain.

Experience with simulator instruction environments.

Familiarity with advanced training technologies or LMS platforms is advantageous.

Previous involvement in training program development or standardization is a plus.
