What you’ll do

  • Manages course development and delivery, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and Company policies
  • Evaluates curriculum, course materials, and instructor performance
  • Initiates changes to curriculum/course materials, as necessary
  • Manages implementation of changes to curriculum/course materials
  • Coaches instructors as necessary
  • Maintains proficiency in delivering all phases of ground school training
  • Ensures availability of training resources (course materials, classroom requirements, etc.)

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 4 years related job experience, with 2 of those years teaching in a flight operations department or military equivalency
  • Prior experience working with flight crews or military equivalent

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Prior supervisory/management experience
  • FAR 121 airline flight operations experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of Part 121 FARs
  • Ability to instruct, motivate, and develop employees
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task
