Job Summary
American Airlines is seeking an individual to join its Crew Scheduling Team within the Integrated Operations Division at their Fort Worth, TX location. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operational requirements and overseeing the scheduling, rescheduling, and reassignment of flight attendant crews, ensuring compliance with contractual labor agreements and regulatory limitations.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating coverage for open flight attendant sequences across various crew bases, adhering strictly to the provisions of the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) and FAR 121 Limitations. This position requires assisting the Manager on Duty with daily operational challenges, including irregular operations, and ensuring timely and cost-efficient allocation of crew resources. The role involves supervising, leading, and guiding a team of Crew Schedulers, fostering continuous improvement through performance conversations, coaching, and motivation. Responsibilities also extend to supporting senior management with special assignments, participating in crucial crew system and labor meetings, and leading grievance and pay claim research.
Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalency.

3 years of job-related experience.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Willingness and ability to work extra hours to meet operational needs, including holidays, weekends, and overtime with little advance notice, in a 24/7/365 operation.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in Crew Scheduling is preferred.

Experience working with a contract labor group and knowledge of the Flight Attendant JCBA are advantageous.
