American Airlines is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join the Flight Service Recruiting team. This role focuses on the recruitment and onboarding of professional Flight Attendant Trainees. The successful candidate will facilitate interviews, manage high-volume assessment processes, and ensure the delivery of exceptional administrative and operational support within the Flight Service division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate on-demand video interview evaluations and lead in-person group interview sessions for a high volume of applicants.
  • Review and score candidate responses against established criteria, interview guides, and company standards.
  • Manage the interview check-in process, verify candidate documentation, and ensure clear communication regarding next steps.
  • Status candidates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain thorough, accurate records of all interactions.
  • Collaborate with evaluators to ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant assessment processes.
  • Develop and update interview training materials and conduct training for new interviewers.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional image and upholding ethical hiring standards.
  • Adjust interview strategies to align with fluctuating recruitment needs and candidate volumes.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including extended hours during peak hiring periods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment, interviewing, or evaluator positions.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and resilience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle high-volume recruitment efficiently.
  • Commitment to ethical and legal hiring practices.
  • Ability to serve as an effective liaison between departments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS systems.
  • Proficiency in Sabre, Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience conducting high-volume group interviews or recruitment events.
  • Prior experience as a flight attendant or flight attendant recruiter.
