Job Summary

American Airlines is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Crew Scheduling Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This role is responsible for monitoring flight attendant monthly activity records and ensuring strict adherence to legal and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a complete crew complement on every American Airlines flight while meeting contractual working agreements and company service requirements.
  • Execute the scheduling, rescheduling, and reassignment of flight crews to trips allocated to the designated base.
  • Monitor, interpret, and apply flight attendant labor agreements to daily operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior experience in Crew Scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of airline operations.
  • Proficiency in SABRE/DECS systems.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment based on data analysis.
  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to constant operational changes.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management and union groups.
  • Analytical ability to review policies, procedures, and work products to recommend improvements in productivity and efficiency.
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to perform duties manually in the event of computer system outages.
  • Competence in memorizing computer entry codes and city codes.
  • Functional understanding of the 24-hour clock and worldwide time zones.
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required, sometimes with limited notice.
