About the Role
Amentum is seeking an experienced Instructor Pilot to provide instruction in the TH-1H helicopter at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This role involves instructing flight students in academics, simulations, and flight training, focusing on contact, instrument, and remote operations within a partnership between the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and Amentum.
Requirements

Must have previously qualified as a U.S. Air Force helicopter instructor pilot. CV-22 pilots who attended SUPT-H or UHT also qualify.

Must have been current in U.S. DOD military aircraft within the previous 4 years, or within the previous 6 years if the candidate has accumulated 11 years of DOD military operational flying duty.

Possess at least 1,000 hours of total DOD military helicopter flight time.

Possess at least 200 hours of DOD military helicopter instructor time.

Maintain a working knowledge of all USAF flight regulations.

Hold a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate prior to commencing training.

Must not exceed 250 pounds when in flight duty uniform.

Ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of authorization.
Qualifications

Qualified as a U.S. Air Force helicopter instructor pilot (CV-22 pilots who attended SUPT-H or UHT are considered).
