Amentum | Instructor

About the Role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Instructor Pilot to provide instruction in the TH-1H helicopter at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This role involves instructing flight students in academics, simulations, and flight training, focusing on contact, instrument, and remote operations within a partnership between the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and Amentum.

Requirements

• Must have previously qualified as a U.S. Air Force helicopter instructor pilot. CV-22 pilots who attended SUPT-H or UHT also qualify.
• Must have been current in U.S. DOD military aircraft within the previous 4 years, or within the previous 6 years if the candidate has accumulated 11 years of DOD military operational flying duty.
• Possess at least 1,000 hours of total DOD military helicopter flight time.
• Possess at least 200 hours of DOD military helicopter instructor time.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all USAF flight regulations.
• Hold a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate prior to commencing training.
• Must not exceed 250 pounds when in flight duty uniform.
• Ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of authorization.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a U.S. Air Force helicopter instructor pilot (CV-22 pilots who attended SUPT-H or UHT are considered).
• USAF military aviation experience is required.
