This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the development of future military aviators, delivering world-class flight instruction for the UH-72 Lakota helicopter. Previous military aviation experience or UH-72 specific qualification is not a prerequisite for this position.

Helicopter Pilot Instructors at Amentum play a critical role in shaping the next generation of military aviators. The instructors teach, coach, and mentor student pilots through an intensive training curriculum meticulously designed to prepare them for their future operational roles. While recognizing the inherent risks of flight training, Amentum places paramount importance on safety in every facet of its Rotary Wing Flight Training culture. Instructors conduct flight operations and instruction within an expansive area covering more than 40,000 square miles of the National Airspace System.
