Helicopter Pilot (Instructor)

Location: Fort Novosel, Alabama

Overview:

Amentum is seeking applications for the position of Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) at Fort Novosel, Alabama. The successful candidate will provide instruction in the UH-72 aircraft. Prior military aviation experience or specific UH-72 qualification is not mandatory for this role.

Role Responsibilities:

Amentum instructors are vital in teaching, coaching, and mentoring student pilots through rigorous training programs. These programs are meticulously designed to prepare students for their future roles as military aviators. While flight training involves inherent risks, safety is the paramount consideration woven into every aspect of Amentum's Rotary Wing Flight Training culture. With an exceptional safety record, boasting over 2.5 million hours of flight instruction, Amentum instructors conduct training operations across an expansive area exceeding 40,000 square miles within the National Airspace System.
