Amentum is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) at Fort Novosel, Alabama. This role involves training future Army helicopter pilots at the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence, a premier institution responsible for graduating approximately 1,000 pilots annually. Instructors guide undergraduate student pilots through comprehensive training, from aviation theory and simulator instruction to actual flight experience, preparing them for the demands of military aviation. Safety is paramount, and the program maintains an exceptional safety record.
Selected candidates will provide instruction in the UH-72. Prior military aviation experience or UH-72 qualification is not required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are subject to Government approval, the terms of a 12-month Employee Training Agreement, and must pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check. Successful completion of training and a government acceptance checkride is also required.
