Amentum is seeking qualified candidates for an Instructor Pilot position. This role involves providing instruction in the UH-72 aircraft at the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Fort Rucker, Alabama. Instructor Pilots will train undergraduate student pilots in aviation theory, simulator instruction, and actual flight training, preparing them for demanding operational environments. Amentum instructors contribute to a program that graduates approximately 1,000 Army helicopter pilots annually, training future aviators from the Army, Air Force, NATO, and allied countries. Safety is of utmost importance, and the program has an exceptional safety record.
Applicants must be able to obtain Government approval and agree to the terms of a 12-month Employee Training Agreement. Selected candidates will be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check and complete a government acceptance checkride. Military aviation experience or UH-72 qualification is not required.
