At Fort Rucker, the world's largest rotary wing flight school, Amentum aviation experts provide comprehensive training to approximately 1,000 Army helicopter pilots annually. Our dedicated instructors, with a proven track record spanning over three decades, have successfully trained over 25,000 student pilots.
As an Instructor Pilot, you will guide aspiring aviators through a rigorous training program encompassing aviation theory, simulator instruction, and actual flight training. You will instill in them the skills and confidence needed to operate the UH-72 helicopter and navigate the complexities of combat aviation. Safety remains paramount, reflected in our program's unparalleled safety record of over 2.3 million hours of flight instruction.
The training program, conducted in a dynamic, multinational environment, goes beyond technical proficiency. It emphasizes leadership development, preparing student pilots to lead in challenging situations.
