Alpine Helicopters | Pilot

Alpine is currently accepting resumes from experienced Bell 212 and/ or 407 Pilots for permanent full-time and winter contract positions.

SUMMARY:

These positions are primarily rotational field positions in support of Alpine’s intermediate and medium flight operations, encompassing all aspects of commercial rotary-wing services such as fire-fighting, forestry/ silviculture, mining, aerial power line support work, construction and heli-skiing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive and safe rotary-wing services to Alpine’s clients, in accordance with the Company Operations Manual, Safety Management System Manual, and CARS.
Participate in our Safety Management System Program.

Help liaise with clients to ensure contract requirements are met.

Maintain documents and equipment while working with the helicopter.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Knowledge of Transport Canada’s regulations.
* Team player who can work well with the complement of company crew members.

* Strong communication and customer relations skills.
* Punctual for scheduled flights.
* Conducts themselves in a professional manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Valid Transport Canada CAT 1, Medical Certificate.
* Canadian Commercial Pilot License Helicopter.

* Endorsed on the Bell 407, 206L, 212 or Airbus AS350 B3e or equivalent.
* Minimum 1500 hours of flight experience as Pilot in Command, accident-free.

* Provide an acceptable drivers abstract.
* Approved Mountain Course.

* Fire fighting, longline and heli-skiing experience would be considered an asset.

* This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a confirmed negative Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Test.

LOCATION:

Alpine has bases in both British Columbia and Alberta but pilots may need to perform work in other work locations in Canada. As such, the employee must be willing to travel to various work locations in the provinces across Canada.
