Captain, Beechcraft 1900
Alpine Air, a reputable name in the aviation industry, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Captain to join their flight operation team in North Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for piloting Beechcraft 1900 aircraft, upholding the company’s unwavering commitment to safety, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
The Captain will assume a multifaceted role, encompassing, but not limited to:
- Operating aircraft in strict adherence to all applicable FAA regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrating unwavering dedication to safety and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication, managing complex internal and external aircraft communications effectively.
- Exhibiting proficiency in conducting flights across diverse conditions, including day, night, and varied weather scenarios.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- B1900 Flight Time: 1200 Total, 100 Multi-Engine
General Qualifications:
- FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Meeting all requirements outlined in FAR Part 135
- Demonstrated ability to successfully complete the training program and achieve proficiency in all job requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Physical capacity to lift and move 70 lbs of cargo to shoulder height on a regular basis
- Ability to bend and squat repeatedly, employing safe lifting techniques throughout
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma (minimum), with a BS/BA degree preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and receive U.S. Postal clearance
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., having resided within the U.S. for 4.5 of the past 5 years
Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
