The Role:
As a Global Express Captain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of our discerning clientele. Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot, this full-time, home-based position requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for aviation and an unwavering commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute meticulous flight planning for every journey, incorporating all relevant weather information and adhering to Company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections to confirm aircraft airworthiness, ensuring compliance with FARs and Company protocols.
- Ensure meticulous flight planning and fuel management to guarantee safe and compliant operations.
- Exhibit exceptional piloting skills, operating the aircraft safely, effectively, and in strict accordance with the Captain's instructions, FARs, and Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, relevant FARs, operational manuals, policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Communicate effectively with crew and passengers, providing updates on turbulent weather conditions and any operational factors impacting the flight.
- Diligently complete load manifests for each flight.
- Contribute to a culture of punctuality and reliability by meeting all report times, departure times, and minimum turn times.
- Assist with the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo while at the terminal.
- Maintain impeccable attendance records in accordance with Company procedures.
- Present a professional image at all times, adhering to the Company uniform dress code.
- Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism while on duty, observing the Rules of Conduct as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, and related policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, pursuing training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and Company.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working for a Part 135 Charter Operator is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to multitask, collect and organize data, analyze problems, and generate timely reports.
- Experience with aviation software is a plus, while proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Must meet the current FAA and Company minimum age and flight hour requirements for interviewing and hiring.
