SUMMARY: The Helicopter Instructor Pilot will, as part of a flight operations team, provide instruction and check rides within the Federal Aviation Administration’s established Helicopter Event Based Currency Program as well as providing recurrent training in both Bell 206BIII and/or Robinson R44 aircraft.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Flights are conducted in the vicinity of the DFW class B airspace.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: B.S. in Aviation preferred, or a related field, and two years of closely related experience, or High School Diploma and Technical School training, and two years of closely related experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific tasks to be performed by the Helicopter Instructor Pilot include but are not limited to the following:
