First Officer (Second in Command) - Commercial Airline Pilot

Key Responsibilities of the Second in Command

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Pilot in Command in all flight operations, ensuring safe and compliant transport of passengers, freight, mail, or other commercial purposes.

  • Performs all duties as Second in Command in the operation of company aircraft.
  • Ensures strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and relevant air traffic control instructions.
  • Adheres rigorously to Company Flight Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal operational policies during all scheduled flights and routes.
  • Actively contributes to the comprehensive safety management system to ensure the highest degree of flight safety and operational integrity.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must satisfy the following essential requirements for consideration as a Commercial Aviation First Officer:

  • Total documented flight time must meet or exceed 1,500 hours.
  • Possession of a current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Must possess a minimum of 500 hours of documented fixed-wing turbine time. This requirement may be satisfied through a combination of airplane and powered lift operational experience.
