Role and Responsibilities
The First Officer performs as the Second in Command in the professional transport of passengers, mail, freight, or for other essential commercial purposes. This critical function requires unwavering dedication to operational excellence and safety compliance.
- Acts as Second in Command (SIC) on scheduled commercial flights and routes.
- Ensures strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established Company Flight Procedures.
- Adheres rigorously to all Company Policies and operational mandates to guarantee the highest safety standards are maintained throughout the duration of every flight.
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for the First Officer position:
- Possession of a minimum of 1,500 hours of documented total flight time (Min Total Time: 1500).
- Must hold a current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Required minimum of 500 hours of fixed-wing turbine time, which may include time accumulated in both airplane and powered lift classifications.
