Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures as mandated by the Government, DGCA, and company manuals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft operational rules, regulations, and procedures, including the latest safety and service circulars, notices, procedures, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Consistently uphold company grooming and appearance standards, projecting a professional image while on duty and during layovers.
  • Ensure the validity of all mandatory and regulatory training and documents, facilitating their timely issuance, renewal, and extension.
  • Conduct inflight sales, continuously striving to enhance ancillary revenue, promote the airline brand, and offer various options to customers, thereby ensuring the Akasa Air experience is demonstrated and the customer's overall experience is enhanced.
  • Ensure efficient and consistent service delivery by the crew, meeting and surpassing customer expectations with an emphasis on finesse and presentation. Provide dedicated attention to customers with special needs, such as those with reduced mobility, the elderly, un-accompanied minors, and mothers with infants or children.
  • Prioritize customer comfort, consistently demonstrating care and enthusiasm for customer well-being.
  • Conduct a thorough galley handover, ensuring that sales stock, pre-booked meals, and other catering provisions align with catering documentation.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by maintaining positive and proactive engagement with customers in the cabin, fostering good public relations.
  • Ensure the maintenance of on-time performance.
  • Uphold a high standard of self-discipline at all times while on duty, adhering to the cabin crew code of conduct, focusing on customer safety, security, and comfort.
  • Be responsible for checking, safeguarding, and returning all company equipment and unused catering supplies, maintaining the cleanliness and order of the aircraft cabin, lavatories, and galleys, and monitoring the cabin throughout the flight.
  • Report any issues, discrepancies, non-compliances, or defects in the cabin and galley to the Inflight Manager.
  • Make all relevant announcements as defined in the Announcement book (if approved as per announcement ratings).
  • Complete all pre-flight and post-flight duties.
  • Propose changes related to service delivery, design, enhancement, or waste reduction, based on customer and crew feedback. Contribute to process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Practice effective CRM to ensure seamless coordination with the cockpit crew and other relevant departments (Airport Services, catering, security), and extend assistance to colleagues beyond the call of duty.

Requirements:

  • Indian nationals holding a valid passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card.
  • For freshers with no prior flying experience, the age range is 18 to 28 years.
  • Experienced cabin crew applicants may be up to 35 years of age.
  • Minimum height requirements: 155 cm for females and 167.5 cm for males (with weight in proportion).
  • Minimum education: Completion of 10+2 (Class 12th), with fluency in both English and Hindi.
  • Medically fit according to DGCA standards.
  • BMI range: 18-23 for females and 18-25 for males.
  • No visible tattoos or marks.
