Experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) - International Jet Operations
Aitheras Aviation Group is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to fill the critical role of Pilot in Command (PIC) for specialized global jet operations. This demanding position requires exceptional airmanship, strict adherence to international regulations, and the readiness for extended overseas flying assignments. The successful candidate will join a prestigious organization dedicated to safety and operational excellence.
Aitheras Aviation Group requires candidates to meet or exceed the following rigorous flight time and experience minimums:
- Total PIC Time (Multi-Engine): 2,500 hours
- Total PIC Time (Jet): 2,500 hours
- Specific Experience: Prior Pilot in Command experience in Learjet aircraft is mandatory.
- Actual Instrument Time: 200 hours
- Night Flight Time: 250 hours
- Multi-Crew Experience: A minimum of two years of documented multi-crew flight deck experience.
- License: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Licensing Authority: FAA license holders only.
- Medical Certification: Valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Type Rating: While a type rating is not required at the time of application, successful candidates must be willing and able to complete provided training.
This role is intrinsically linked to extensive international operations and requires the candidate to accept the following conditions:
- Passport: Must possess a current, unrestricted passport and be capable of international travel without limitations.
- Residency: The candidate must reside outside of the United States.
- Deployment: Overseas flying will be required, often involving extended stays and operational extensions abroad.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
A strong preference will be given to candidates who already possess a Learjet 35/55 type rating.
