Job Summary
airline is seeking an experienced Captain to operate the BN-2 Islander aircraft based in Stornoway, Scotland. This role involves flying scheduled VFR/IFR passenger services, ad-hoc charter, and scenic flights as a single-crew pilot. About the Role
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the BN-2 Islander and potentially Tecnam P2012 aircraft. Duties encompass a range of flight operations, including scheduled passenger services under both Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), as well as charter and scenic flight opportunities. The position operates in a single-crew environment, demanding a high degree of self-reliance and professionalism.
Requirements
- Valid UK FCL CPL(A) license.
- Current Instrument Rating (IR) with PBN endorsement.
- Current medical certificate.
- A minimum of 1500 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 500 multi-engine flight hours.
- BN2 aircraft type rating or similar Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) type experience is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team with a strong work ethic.
- Capability to conduct single-crew operations.
