Position Details
- Workplace: YUL/St-Hubert, Quebec. The successful candidate must demonstrate willingness and flexibility to operate from all of Airmedic's satellite bases as required.
- Status: Regular full-time employment.
- Schedule: A structured rotation comprising 14 consecutive days on duty, followed by 7 days off.

Technical Skills
- Possesses an excellent understanding of systems and procedures specific to the Learjet 45 XR aircraft and Airmedic's operational protocols.
- Demonstrates the ability to work efficiently under pressure and seamlessly within a demanding team environment.
- Ensures strict adherence to all current aviation regulations, operational procedures, and applicable laws.
- Is fully bilingual, with proficiency in both French and English.
Professional Background & Requirements
Technical Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications
- Holds a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
- Possesses a valid Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Has successfully completed both the SARON and SAMRA exams.
- Maintains a valid Category 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions for night flying.
- Holds a valid Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) as a First Officer on type, or demonstrates a strong willingness and capability to obtain it promptly.
- Has no criminal record that would prevent or restrict travel to the United States or internationally.
- Possesses a valid passport and all necessary authorizations for unrestricted international travel.
- Is eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Meets a minimum ICAO Level 5 language proficiency standard in both French and English.
Experience
- A minimum of 750 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 250 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- 500 hours of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) experience.
- 250 hours of turboprop or jet experience (considered a strong asset).
- Previous experience in similar aviation operations (considered a strong asset).
- Prior experience as a First Officer on Learjet 40 XR (considered a significant asset).
Highly Advantageous Experience
- Experience operating Learjet 40, 45, 70, and 75 aircraft, including LR45XR and LR40XR variants.
Ongoing Training & Development
Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to promptly complete and diligently maintain all mandatory ongoing training and certifications pertinent to the role and aircraft type.
Additional Operational Requirements
Must be capable of performing normal and sustained work missions for 14 consecutive days, with shifts potentially lasting up to 14 hours, including weekends and holidays.
