Airmedic | First Officer

Airmedic, a distinguished corporate and business aviation operator located in Montreal, Canada, is actively seeking an experienced First Officer for its Learjet LR-45 fleet. This permanent, full-time position offers an attractive 14/7 roster and provides comprehensive benefits.

About the Role

The First Officer will be responsible for operating Learjet LR-45 aircraft, primarily for medical transport missions. Key duties include conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, performing aircraft systems checks, and actively participating in crew resource management and safety protocols. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of Learjet 45 XR systems and Airmedic's specific operational procedures is essential. The role also requires accurate completion of all flight documentation and reporting. Successful candidates will be expected to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays, as part of a 14-day operational cycle with shifts potentially lasting up to 14 hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 750 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 250 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• Minimum of 500 hours of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) experience.
• Possession of a valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License.
• Valid Instrument Rating (IR).
• Valid Multi-Engine Rating (ME).
• SAMRA SARON authorization.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Level 5 proficiency.
• ICAO French Level 5 proficiency.
• Valid Proficiency Check (PPC) as First Officer on the Learjet LR-45.
• A valid passport with unrestricted international travel authorization.
• Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• A clean criminal record.
• Willingness to work at satellite bases.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 250 hours of turboprop or jet experience is preferred.
• Previous First Officer experience on the Learjet 40 XR is advantageous.
• Experience operating Learjet 40, 45, 70, and 75 series aircraft is considered a plus.
