Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) is seeking a Flight Crew Planner for its PITBVOCP Department in Toulouse. This role is responsible for ensuring qualified flight crew availability for all Beluga oversized air transport operations managed by Airbus Transport International (ATI), an Airbus subsidiary. The successful candidate will manage flight crew allocation, monitor qualifications, and ensure compliance with European regulations and company agreements.
About the Role
The Flight Crew Planner will be instrumental in maintaining the operational readiness of the Beluga fleet by meticulously planning and allocating flight crews. This involves a comprehensive understanding of flight schedules, ground activities, and regulatory requirements, ensuring all crew members are qualified and available for duty. The role also encompasses managing crew training schedules, handling individual crew requests, and arranging logistics such as hotel accommodation and positioning flights.
Key Accountabilities

Prepare and issue flight crew plans, incorporating flight and ground activities, and revise as necessary.

Verify compliance with all legal and company agreement requirements, including maximum duty times, minimum rest periods, and qualifications.

Anticipate operational challenges and negotiate adjustments to constraints with objectivity.

Collaborate with the Flight Operations department to review training programs and schedule required training for qualification renewal.

Collect and process individual crew member requests (e.g., holidays) in accordance with company policy.

Arrange hotel accommodations and flight crew positioning trips.

Propose improvements to enhance the flight crew planning process and contribute to Airbus Transport objectives.
Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Knowledge of EASA Flight Time Limitation (FTL) regulations is advantageous.

Experience in an airline environment or planning roles is a plus.
