Role Requirements
Prospective candidates for the B777 Type Rated Captain position must meet the following stringent qualifications:
- Possession of an EASA Part FCL ATPL (Unrestricted).
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Current and valid B777 Type Rating.
- Achieved ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
- Valid EU Passport/Citizenship.
- A total flight experience of 6,000 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft, OR 5,000 hours, of which a minimum of 4,500 hours must have been on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft, including 1,500 hours as Commander.
- An additional minimum of 500 hours as Commander specifically on the B777 type. This can be inclusive within the total 1,500 hours as Commander.
