Role Requirements: B777 Captain
Prospective candidates must satisfy the following stringent professional qualifications:
- Possession of an Unrestricted EASA Part FCL Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Current and valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Mandatory valid B777 Type Rating.
- Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
- Valid EU Passport or Citizenship is required.
- Flight Experience: A minimum total flight time of 6,000 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft, OR 5,000 hours total time, of which a minimum of 4,500 hours must have been logged on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft. This must include 1,500 hours flown in the capacity of Commander (Pilot in Command).
- Type-Specific Experience: A minimum of 500 hours must have been accumulated as Commander specifically on the B777 type. This B777 command experience can be included within the total required 1,500 hours of Commander time.
