Second In Command Pilot - Hawker 800 (Birmingham, AL)
AirMed International seeks a highly skilled and experienced Second In Command (SIC) Pilot to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL. As a SIC, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of flight duties, supporting the Pilot In Command (PIC) in the operation of our Hawker 800 aircraft.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive starting salary ranging from $94,503 - $116,183.10, based on experience, with annual merit-based increases to a maximum of $144,970.
- $15,000 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of training and checkride.
- $40,000 retention bonus after a 6-month wait period, distributed over a 3-year program.

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the principles and procedures outlined in AirMed International's General Operations Manual.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for missions in collaboration with AirMed's dispatch team.
- Comply with domestic and international aviation regulations, including FARs, ICAO annexes, and individual AIPs.
- Effectively disseminate relevant flight operation information through the operational control structure.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and demonstrate environmental awareness at all times.
- Participate in meetings and attend training and check-flights as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Birmingham, AL.
- Must hold, or be able to attain, a Hawker 800 (HS-125-800) PIC Type Rating.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, an FAA ATP certificate.
- Meet or exceed the following flight experience requirements:
- Total time: 1500 hours Airplane
- Multi-Engine: 250 hours airplane multi-engine land
- PIC: 250 hours Airplane
- Must hold, or be able to attain, a First-Class Medical Certificate and maintain First Class Privileges.
- Must hold a valid US Passport.
- Must be eligible to hold a Chinese "C" class visa.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, and crouch unassisted for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds.
- Ability to work day and night shifts as assigned.
- Ability to independently transport oneself to and from work.
- Extensive international travel required.
- Overnight stays will be necessary for mission fulfillment.
