The role requires the ability to work irregular hours, manage conflicts effectively, maintain cabin cleanliness, and handle duties on the tarmac or at the gates. The ability to remain composed and decisive in emergency situations, calmly manage tense situations, and enforce safety regulations is crucial.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. While good looks are valued, exceptional grooming is paramount. The following grooming standards are expected: clear skin, no visible marks on hands or legs, no braces, and neat, healthy-looking hair. (Male candidates with long hair should be aware that they may be required to cut their hair if hired.)
Minimum height requirements are: Ladies: 157cm (barefoot); Men: 170cm (barefoot). A minimum arm reach of 210cm is also required.
Compensation is directly correlated to productivity; the more shifts undertaken, the greater the earning potential.
