Job Overview

Sr. SEP Instructor shall be responsible to impart effective and efficient SEP training to cabin crew and flight deck crew. Shall conduct examinations/assessments/surveillance flights for cabin safety personnel as required in the CAR and the approved training manuals. Shall be involved in the development of the trainee SEP Instructors.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that the company image and value systems are upheld at all times
To ensure the department is compliant with various other International/ National organizations like the IOSA, ISO, DGCA or as applicable
Maintain current knowledge of rules and regulations, policies and procedures for the operations of aircraft and ensure that they conform to regulatory requirements
Proper coordination between various departments for training purposes
Provide inputs on specific trainee and training related issues
Training of cabin crew members, in accordance with the approved training program
Responsible for the code of conduct and discipline during cabin safety training
Develop and Deliver high Standards of Cabin Safety Training which corresponds with DGCA requirements, the Cabin Crew Training Manual, SEP Manual and the OMD (for SEP training of Flight Deck crew) on obtaining the necessary approvals
Assess, Monitor, Coach and provide Trainee SEP Instructors with individual feedback
To ensure documentation, Crew personnel files and records are regularly updated
Provide inputs on training feedback received and ensure changes agreed are implemented
Ensure functioning of the Safety, Security and Quality system within the area of responsibility
In the absence, a proper handover shall be given to the person(s) designated by the Manager

Work Experience

Minimum 6 months of experience as approved DGCA SEP Instructor
Minimum 23 years of age

Qualification

Graduate from a recognized university will be preferred
